Improved USB on the way

ATI will soon be ready with its new south bridge chip. The chip marketing outfit was heavily criticised for its USB performance in its current south bridge, the SB450, but this will be improved in the new chip.

The firm needed to come up with a new south bridge sharpish. It had been using one supplied by ULI, but that firm has now been bought up by ATI arch-rival Nvidia.
