If linux had somehow made its way onto the 360, don't you think it would be a huge news headline instead of a pipeline?

They can run standard windows programs (or can they do that already?)

I'm guessing that this was close and only spotted a few pages on.

The fact you got the update early is part of having these machines, as if they are developer/preview/beta testing machines they would send out updates to them first.

If it's not SDK, maybe MS have a beta-testing service and these are part of it somehow.
