Nokia 6288 - 3G slide phone with 'high-quality' video playing

Nokia's latest is the 6288, a 3G slide phone weighing 115g and fitted with a 262,144-colour, QVA (320x240) display that's said to offer high-quality video playing capabilities.

Features include "real-time" video sharing, two-way video calls and video ringtones. It's due any day now in a choice of black or white-and-black and with an estimated price (before subsidies or tax) of €325 (£219).

I just bought the 6234 and it crashes at least once every couple of days. Wouldnt touch another one again sorry.

As I understand it, this is a Vodafone exclusive (but similar to the 6233).

Have you spoken to anyone at Vodafone or Nokia about the problem?

looks nice, though I wonder about the little joystick on Nokias. I used to hate the stick on Sony phones, and then went back to Nokias with the familiar rocker pad. This looks like a rocker pad with a select button in the centre? If it's not too pricey (<&#163;200) I'd definitely give this phone a shot.
