"Sony fanboys wowed at PS3 awesomeness"
Can't see any haters going to that can you?
My judgment is reserved until I touch it and go "ooooh"
I can't wait to see all the new games look different from the their previous incarnations slightly, its going to be awesome.
Splinter Cell 23: Another Short Story is going to be superb too, it will be like playing all the old games with extra cool new graphics. Its rumoured by Sony to have 20,000,000 times the power of the old game but its not fact yet...
Oh and Metal Gear Solid 18: Snakes and Ladders will be good too, even though it will look same as Splinter Cell and play the same...its going to be different somehow.
And look out for plenty of other generic stealth 'em ups and Need for Speed versions (1 every 3 months would be good, with new stickers on the cars and a new intro!).
Cynical, me? Never!
Yeah, I'd like to actually hear from these people. 4 comments out of thousands doesn't convince me.

Possible error?According to reports, from the likes of The Seattle Times and the Montgomery advertiser, gamers were stunned at the games on show and were in doubt that they'll be picking up a PS3 on November 17th.
They were in doubt?
This is going to be funny... that much I can tell you
I have a feeling these people have been hiding under a rock since the 360 was launched then. I mean the games basically look identical apart from the 1080p part (which Sony relies on repeatedly to "beat" the 360 even though 99.99999999999% of European HD sets only support 720 natively).

thing is, the ps3 will probably end up a bit more powerful than the 360, i don't think many people truely doubt that, its just the effect that will have on games. the origonal xbox was nigh twice the power of the ps2, but the cross-platform games only look marginally better - a bit of smoothness and extra draw distance.. not much else in it. to be fair, does it even matter? will the extra few pixels, or bit of draw distance actually improve your gaming experiance??
as for 1080p tellys, yes, but going forwards they'll come in more and more, especially on the larger sets. its starting to take over at the ~£2000 price point, with sets from samsung and the like looking very tempting - its only a matter of time in my opinion until the price bracket drops to sub-£1000, and they start hitting the mass-market..
the ps3 may not be the best value-for-money system of the next gen, but the ps2 wasnt the best v-f-m console of the last generation (you could hardly argue it had more features or power than an identically or lower priced xbox) but that didn't stop it way-outselling the competition.. i think the which-is-more-powerful argument will be fairly negligable in the battle between the 2 - its more about branding - much in the same way as all other things - no-one would buy a bimmer or audi if it wasn't for branding

I really hope the PS3 is a hit. I don't like the way Sony have gone about things, but it's good to have competition. At the end of the day I just want to play great games and I hope that Sony can produce the goods. I think until I hear from someone who I actually know, or myself or someone from HEXUS actually plays one and says how great it is, I'm going to be sceptical.
The same goes with Wii. We've printed loads of positive stuff about it and yes Nick played it at E3 and thought it was great, but the real test will be when we actually play it on the final machine and finished games this week. I really hope it doesn't disappoint. I'm getting into shape pumping some iron this week in preparation!

Yeah it will end up better than the Xbox 360 but can it keep getting better for 10 years? Everyone will be bored of it by then and MS keep saying they are going to build new Xbox models every 5-years so concievably we could have 2 by the time Sony PS3 is at the end of its life.
