Any idea when 8.12 hits? I know the 10th seems to be the predicted date, but I'd be interested to see when it arrives. I'm wondering if this might make it worth me folding again (given that I struggled with the GPU client with my 2 4870s)?
It is out now:

Awesome - cheers Tarinder.
Erm, hasn't the AVIVO converter been in CCC for a year or more now? Has it changed significantly with the 8.12s or something?
Think that read should read red.But what about the read team?
Some operations are simply better performed by the CPU, and that aside, there's no point leaving the CPU idle when it can be used in parallel with the GPU. If AMD got CPU utilisation up to 100% with the AVIVO converter, then they're doing a good job.Originally Posted by The Article
Why is the Avivo download labelled:-

with X1000 series products
should that be X1000 and above
I've tried it and it doesn't seem to support any popular file types, I tried to convert an MPEG2 to an IPOD video:-
what I got out was completely unusable.
It's very very poor IMHO..
