Actually scenario mode has kind of been done before in the Tekken series - Does anyone remember "force mode" in Tekken 3? It was just a 2D side scroller ala Streets of Rage but the principle was the same...

Little bit disappointed with this, didn't bother buying for ages then saw how cheap it was the other day so I got it thinking I'd give it a go as I used to be addicted to Tekken 3. Although the graphics are pretty good, the scenario mode didn't take long to complete and it's too easy to win by button bashing now. There used to be characters which were incredibly hard to play if you just button bashed but were so overpowered (Xiaoyu being the main one) but you don't need any skill for this.
