Brilliant Article again. Ive got debian running, tho no X "yet", so im posting this through the command line, which simply rules. The setup to debian is explained really well to btw . Can't wait for part 3 now.

part 3 is now out of my hands and in that of the senior HEXUS staff (i.e. Rys). "watch this space", as they say. remind me next time to try & be more optimal when taking screenshots, the part 3 screens are a little bloated as sent to Rys.

glad it worked out for you, the problem with guides is you can never be sure how well things will work on a different machine to your own

A good article, a good beginners guide to installing Linux. Although maybe the title isn't as appropriate as it could be as it simply deals with Linux, lol.

it carries on a sequence which started off on windows, i felt it was better to have a "part 1-3" system than to change the title, to emphasise the continuity

sent off on the date it was compressed. the hexus staff are busy people though, which would probably be tyhe reason for the hold-up. needs a bit of updating to cover recent developments, truth be told.
