    Post Shuttle's XPC SB81P

Shuttle have gone large for the first time since the XPC was created. Their new P-series chassis brings with it the ability to drop three hard disks in without modifications, along with a completely redesigned interior, focussed on cooling. Here's a snippet from our review of the first XPC to use the P-series, the SB81P.

It's unappealing with the GMA900 on-board video, so wait for PCI Express graphics cards to appear, pick your CPU and GPU poison, then definitely consider the SB81P as the host platform for those choices. Because if you can stomach LGA775 and PEG16X, it's good. Very very good.

Definite Fan of this XPC, just a real shame its Prescott, I wonder if this motherboard supports the next bump up in FSB from 800mhz to 1066mhz?, knowing Intel it won't be and will mean a new Shuttle in 6 months when they start releasing the new cpu's.

Looks very nice, now if we could only get a S939 AMD rig with that Chassis then I would be impressed

Yikes! will fix asap. I do resuse page templates, but I should have checked a bit more carefully.

    Thanks for spotting.
