Why are they clearly AMD advantage? I've asked you to explain the technical evidence for your statement.

    Very interesting indeed

I have to say I'm with techreport on this one - their focus on high-latency frames actually makes any positive impact from the crossfire rendering issues moot, because it's likely to only affect very low latency frames, which they ignore anyway. Going to have to read up on this some more though...

Re: Reviews - NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN in SLI

This is the first time I've seen a product where buying from abroad plus shipping and import duty costs is justifiable compared to buying locally.

On the other hand, need to build a top-end rig? Perfect excuse for a holiday to New York to pick up those NewEgg orders

Re: Reviews - NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN in SLI

Looking at those results SLI titan cards offer hardly any more playability than a setup that costs half the price or maybe even less. For £1800 the performance is just nowhere near what I was expecting.

Re: Reviews - NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN in SLI

Well I don't think it's a law, but I was expecting two things from Nvidia for this much money. Pushing past the 2560x1600 resolution and me not needing to upgrade for a long time.

The extra performance over say a pair of 7970 cards is not useful so I don't see much longevity for Titan as the next round of ATI card will probably be faster. 8 megapixel is not playable so SLI Titan's are not pushing monitor technology either. If your gaming at anything around 4 megapixels you have no reason to upgrade.
