I just got my card on the 1/11/13 and it still have the old bios
I have also tried to download from that site and it only gave me this file vysk3roafdd15de4.js which I cant do anything with

What bios version are you running now?

I updated mine to 80.10.3A.00.59 and i'm sure the bios release date is the same as the older bios that was on the card ( 80.10.3A.00.33 )

currently on gpu-z it shows the speeds for the card @ default as being : GPU clock 1006mhz, memory 1559mhz, boost 1059mhz

is this right?

some people are mentioning 1100mhz + boost? I can only get that using evga's precision x program

any help appreciated.

I've tried to work out how to contact zotac with no luck at the moment, I just purchased this card aswell and was running that old bios.

Its alright. GPU-Z wouldnt show the new new boost clock to me as well. But it is noticable in games that it is indeed faster.

Evga precision will show around 1165 boost clock now (and it didnt go that high there with the old bios)

Hmmm. I received my GTX 780 AMP cards last week and I have the 80.10.3A.00.33. bios. In my personal BF4 benchmarks, the cards seem to run no better than reference cards (compared to online benchmarks)
I've contacted Zotac and they insist my cards have the latest bios version, and that no cards made it to retailers with the wrong bios. I then provided them with a link to this forum and another to techpowerup which provides the "newer" bios and they said they'd get back to me.

I also bought a Zotac 780 AMP! here in Germany. I bought it on Oct.11th but still I seem to have the "old" BIOS.
I read about the same issues with the limited boost on a German tech site and they also said they received an updated card. But is this a real thing? Does it even exist? Where is the new BIOS to download? I only bought this card because I was assured all new cards would have the correct boost.
Mine doesnt seem to go above ~1050 tho.
My BIOS version is 80.10.3A.00.33 (P2083-0020)

When will this be fixed???

EDIT: Just contacted Zotac (Germany) Support.

EDIT2: Zotac has sent me a Dropbox Folder with Instructions PDF and the new BIOS. Will flash and test now. Great support so far

EDIT3: I have flashed the new BIOS (80.10.3A.00.59) and my card is now running with over 1165 MHZ on boost. Well, that was very a very quick support from Zotac.

Conclusion: They have the new firmwares and it does work. I cant post links yet. PM me if your zotac support is slow.

I had a Zotac GTX 780 Amp with bio version 80.10.3A.00.33. Have since RMA-ed it for a reference version cos the AMP's factory OC was giving me endless crashes from 'device_removed' and 'device_hung' errors. I was browsing a lot of forum threads in the hope of finding solutions to my crashes and that's how i noticed this thread.

Anyways, not sure if this is the version 2 firmware, but from GPUZ monitoring it gave me a maximum boost of only 1097MHz. The card was acquired in late September. I have used GPUZ to make a backup of the firmware. If this bios is newer than yours and you wanna give it a go, let me know via PM and I will email it to you. Filesize is 194KB.

In response to queries regarding the GTX 780 AMP! bios we at ZOTAC believed that all GTX 780 AMP! cards that shipped to etail had the new bios installed however in light of previous communication, it would appear that somehow some previous bios versions may have been included in early units shipped. In light of this, a new bios is being made available to download shortly for anyone who has not achieved the best possible results from their new purchase. When available we will update this thread to confirm. Apologies to anyone affected by this and rest assured ZOTAC are doing their best to ensure everyone gets the best out of their hardware.

Hi everybody I have a gtx 780 zotac amp! too but with the old bios and I would like to change for the v2 but zotac doesn't ansers me ! (maybe they don't like french people ^^)

so please anyone could tell me where I can download the 80.10.3A.00.59 bios and how I should install it.

I live in Canada and I provided them (zotac) with this forum as well as the updated bios others have used. My boost clock wouldn't go past 1030 with shipped bios. They told me I already had the newest version (not true) and would not provide me with the newer one.
I downloaded one from techpowerup. Because I'm a noob here it won't let me post link.
This is the version you need: 80.10.3A.00.59
Now boost clock goes above 1150.
Zotac was of no assistance. Really bummed about their customer support.
As for flashing firm ware I had a buddy help me. He Google'd it so it can't be that hard. Lol.
