I think you're bonkers to get one now, the RRP is 449 and they are being sold for £70-100 more than that. Some places have them up for over £600. Give it a month and everything will be far more stable.
388 at dabs apparently unless some bloke had bought all of them to flog on ebay :/

Kudos to AMD on a very impressive card at a truly excellent price! Personally I'm concerned by the temps and power figures though, so I want to see some Windforce/Twin Frozr/DirectCU/etc numbers before I decide what will take over from my GTX 670.
If it turns out that the 290X does, in fact, draw 60-80W more than the GTX 780 as it seems to do when the pedal's to the metal and if Nvidia responds to the 290X by dropping the price of the 780(Ti) to a sane level - then the choice gets more complicated. However, if the top Nvidia cards remain horribly overpriced, then the 290X is obviously an absolute no-brainer.
Hmm card arrived today. No Never Settle Bundle though, guess AMD had to claw back some money somewhere. Shame, would have been a very nice bonus.
Hmmm there was an announcement saying they were adding the R9 cards to the never settle but can't find it now. Also OCUK were listing the gold never settle bundle with their cards but now when I look that has been removed.

Thanks for the link, not sure they would be able to back date it for people that already bought it tho but will wait and see.
My card is up and running, just breaking it in. Got some coil whine which is disappointing but its not getting as hot as I was expecting. Not got it to throttle down yet due to temp when running 3dmark. It only gets to 87 degree's and stays at 1000MHz all the time and fan only at 45%.
Go AMD, the temps are a bit iffy, but that price/performance is amazing.
On a side note,is there any chance Hexus can review the R7 240 and the R7 250?? There is only one review of a R7 250 and it would be useful to see how the HD7730 and HD7750 stack up against them!!
