What CPU you rocking Troopa? Do you have one of the newer Intel's ?

HEXUS doesn't do Fanboy.... we're a bit grown up for that tbh. But it's good to see why you think it's bull? I myself just opted for a Ryzen 1700 over intel, with my own hard cash, because it better suited my needs and the VFM was exceptional, but intel make a series of lovely CPU's so lets see the Troops(ing) of the Colours

    troll alert with the above.
To each their own and there are good reasons for choosing either brand.
AMD currently has the overall performance/price on everything and intel still has the low latency/IPC on their side.

depending on the application used one could argue for either brand or CPU.

Overall though I'd say the TR2950X is the sweet spot for the HEDT lineup giving you close to 7980XE in many applications while still doing well enough in the worst case scenario's and this is all at less than half the price as well.

troopa please go talk rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbish somewhere else.

Only a fool would say there are rational arguments for anything ever.

Just admit this is a paid for post and be done with it.

If I were paying people to promote my products on forums and they did that, I'd be asking for my money back right now

To be fair, he has posted 34 times or so this year, although it seems he doesn't like HEXUS reviews...

I'm starting to think that troopa and everyone that agrees with him are the real paid shills here.
We all know Nvidia pulled this crap back in the day lol.

    Re: AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2950X

These reviews still seem incomplete until the 2920x is included - it looks like a better price\cores ratio by far.

Plus it would be nice to see some sort of Ryzen PC vs. Azure VM test. I'm inclined to think that Ryzen 3 \ i3 "terminal" onto a highly scaleable cloud environment might be the better workstation approach.
