I thought it was Elves and Pith helmets ?
Society's to blame,
Or possibly Atari.
Well Rai, if you're at Rasta's then I don't mind giving you both (and anyone else there!) a lift if money's a bit tight.
Mine's more that I don't want to do the round trip to guildford by myself... it's a long ol' way!
Gah, can't seem to be able to multiquote directly whilst on my phone
Right work have paid me expenses monies so its not quite so urgent, also payday is next week
Thanks for the lift offer though Gerrard
So... Rai, if you can get down to mine, just jump in with me I have a rough idea of where it is, as I was in and out of Guildford till the small hours this morning.
will do... might be someone coming from up here, so I'll keep you posted.
Funkstar,
I'd love to come and after some grovelling to the mrs I'm all set!
Rai,
Good to go!! If you can make your way to Leighton Buzzard I'll pick you up from there, can drop you off on the way back as I need to go to MK afterwards anyway
See you on Sunday!
Sean
Awesome work chaps!!
Will be great to see you all as we leave. Tickets aren't required, at least not that we've been told anyway.
Raymond currently has 4 spare wheels bolted to the roof and two jerry cans on the back. He will have some christmas decorations so shouldn't be toooo hard to spot
Still on for that time.
We are aiming to leave at 8:00, and it's apparently 45 miles from where we are atm. Not sure how long this will actually take though, it is London after all.
Really looking forward to seeing you guys! means a lot to me
I've just got back from seeing them off. Got lots of photos to go through, which I'll put up later. They seemed one of the better prepared teams compared to some. The had a parade lap around the Top Gear track before setting off and we signed the car before it left. I think their first stop is the Channel Tunnel this evening before making their way down to south Spain by the 17th for a boat to Morrocco.

Forgot to mention that as it was at the Top Gear track, we had a couple of impersonators! Anyway, this Merc won the Fairy Award for being the most likely and sensible car on the rally!
There were a few signs of activity at the Top Gear track...
Start/Finish
Around the outside of Gambon (sp?) Corner
The Austin led the pack around the track: -
Funkstar brought up the rear of the pack, presumably so he could film it from his bonnet!
And some time later...
Seemed to have picked up a hitch-hiker along the way!
After the lap, they parked in the car park and we all signed the car: -
And modified a sticker...
And this was them leaving for their Epic Voyage!
