Yeah, Paladins is essentially just a free Overwatch, I really enjoy playing it!

If you've not played CrossOut yet, give it a shot. You won't be disappointed. It's like a massive Meccano set, with battles.

There is a whiff, but just hit a bump in the road. It's finding the venue that's the hard part...

Enough to hold 40+ and stragglers. They usually run (and fill) a 40 person LAN - have all the kit.
With a sleeping area and decent transport connections. Preferably with a basic kitchen if poss.

Just need somewhere that is OK with the concept of people staying overnight etc.

I feel a few of us coming out of retirement if we get it off the ground...
My original Vice Cap is obviously already interested, not sure of the other one... he's difficult to pin down these days.

Venue i was thinking of probably wouldn't work then. I'd be up for a LAN. I have a feeling I'd stick out like a sort thumb with the Hexus crowd due to my age but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I think we generally have a minimum age of 18, so you would probably be OK.

Was talking to someone last night and they suggested something like a premier inn. Could use one of their function rooms and food, drink and accommodation wouldn't be an issue. Just something to think about.

Unfortunately, it isn't cheap (we normally pay around £50 for the whole weekend), there are time limits (gaming to 2am is normal), noise issues and so on. The place also needs to allow us to bring our own alcohol.
