ok I have pm'd the recipe to deckard and hopefully it will make it to the cookbook shortly. Is actually quite close to Kushtibari's but tastier

Once saw a recipe that used about 20 cloves of garlic

I'll ask charlotte about it later - she almost cooked it. My opinion is you can have too much of a good thing.

A tv chef did one with 20cloves of garlic and chicken, I think it was floyd?

How about making humous - chickpeas, olive oil, lemon juice and garlic.

You could try planting some of your garlic and grow fesh bulbs from each clove. Garlic requires a spell of cold weather, generally 1-2 weeks at 0-4C, to prepare itself physiologically for bulb formation later in the year so you will need to stick it in the ground ASAP.

Raw garlic and grapefruit with yogurt & hemp seed oil . An unusual combination that takes the sting out of eating raw garlic.

I haven't got a garden but I could probably persuade my mum (or mother-in-law) to give me some space. Pretty much all the cloves of garlic I have left are sprouthing now. Do you need to do anything specific to them to get them to grow, or just bung them in the ground and water regularly?
