    For some strange reason I have an idea that some fried cod roe would be nice just now (well not at midnight, but you know what I mean).

    Weirdly I haven't had ony of that for years.

    We are seeing really wonderful crabs here in Cannes (Golfe Juan), having moved along from Rome. I have never dressed a crab...any tips? Having eaten the meat, can you make decent crab soup from shell and remains? Any tips or refer to another thread?
