Knife sharpener. I use a combination of a steel for a quick re-touch and I have a nice set of sharpening hones so I can recut a blade and sharpen to whatever angle I want. Also have a lite diamong stone for doing small knives. I hate blunt knives

I have a cheap version, cost £20 and its great. There's warnings that they dont open synthetic corks, but its managed everything I've chucked at it. Especially good when your a bit sozzled

Seriously though - either this little super-sharp knife, or a potato peeler - I actually love peeling potatoes, don't ask me why!
