The one at my school doesn't give out milk, just little white lumps so I just pull it out quickly and drink it black :X

rofl - well, apart from not understanding any of the wonderful foreign text, I'd be worried if I was that monkey. Brown urine? Sounds like he never gets a drink in that machine

It's enough to put you off your popcorn (see other post)

I've just got into coffee and had some lovely fresh coffe grinded as I waited, I then had a vending machine one a short while later. Well I think the vending ones are soooooo bad it no wonder I didn't drink coffee before!

Not a vending machine, but close. The coffee machines on the platform i'm on (and all the others i've been on in Norway) are real filter coffee. They have a big hopper at the top and an LCD display of how full the 'jug' is. Nice and strong.

Some of the guys here are surprised when i don't put milk in it, but then the milk is rank! they usually use evaporated milk <blech>

Riiight, you drink coffee? I'm thinking no, because anyone who actually likes a good cup of coffee would be able to tell the difference between a good filtered cup of coffee and piss that those regular vending machines spit out.

Sorry, I clearly didn't make the *joke* element clear...

I grind my coffee fresh every morning, columbian being may favoured roast.

It misses out the part where you're trying to get the cup out without scolding your fingers. And then holding it by the thin rim on top avoiding burning your fingers while trying to open doors and avoid people. That's my experience at the work machine anyway!

We have a choice of vendors here at work

the 2 in teh break room are both great, one is a Selecta expensive one that grinds the coffee fresh etc, tastes pretty good but still not a patch on 'real' coffee, and thats free for us to use (we get tokens for it). Way above average but not great.

Then theres the nespresso..and that makes great coffee doesnt do milk (but then we have fresh milk and cream in the fridge) but the coffee it makes is sublime Only thing is we get charged 0.50chf (about 20p) a cup which is annoying, but if I'm not drinking tea then it's worth the money.

edit: oh and you can solve the cup problem by using your own mug

Ours at uni (some famous brand maybe Klicks?) doesn't mix the powder properly which gets annoying when I choose the soup. You get to the end and see a pile of undisolved powder...
