Thanks, not too much of a difference really, except for RAM. Now to get sorted with some photos...

    Re: Price check: MB's + RAM + CPU's

My RAM prices are based on the fact that you're not allowed to sell them for more than you bought them for on here.

If you were to sell elsewhere, Ulti's prices are closer to the true value

The Reapers were bought for about £90 (Yoyotech) and £105-115 (OCUK) if I recall so not an issue on those. The Corsairs were actually over £60 from Scan at the time of purchase. They even have the Scan stickers on them still .

For my benefit or the potential buyers? To be honest, I'd prefer to sell something for less on Hexus (less hassles in general) than to touch eBay. In fact, I'd actually prefer to give something away on Freecycle than to use eBay.

EDIT: Sorry CAT-THE-FIFTH, in rereading my response it could be taken as being a bit aggressive towards your suggestion when you were only tying to be helpful. Wasn't meant that way, I just have a strong dislike of eBay!

    Re: Price check: MB's + RAM + CPU's

I think he meant to gauge how the second-hand market looks. I tend to do it, as long as you're registered, you can search completed items and get a quick guide to what the going rate is.

Generally speaking though, and admittedly only a rough figure, I reckon you get about 25% more on eBay than here. For the hassle involved, and the benefits of reselling within Hexus, I personally agree, and think it's a fair hit to take.

Anyway, re: the 4870 - I would say a little bit less than the previous suggestions. I sold one for £65 on here in January (you can probably guess why ), and with the advent of the 5*** range I doubt the situation has improved much. As before, prices were much higher on eBay, but I didn't want the hassle so just kept lowering the price until somebody bit.
