    My experience is that faster RAM might buy you a few points in a benchmark, but you won't notice it in real life.
    So save your money and buy the cheaper stuff.

    The reason I linked the the Vengeance stuff in Post #3 is it is Good, low voltage (1.5 v), Cheap and if the big heatsinks get in the way you can just take them off.

    Just under £45.

    But, Having said that you can buy the G.Skill ripjaw kit for £40 from Ebuyer.

    It seems 16gb set are no longer sold, looks like 12gb or less now, I was looking for Corsair Memory Vengeance buy four stick deal 16gb.

    at DDR3, generics value ram will not be the bottleneck of the PC, the cpu will be

    I love GSkill RAM so would get one of there kits for sure. Its rock stable and beleive me I give it some hammer. Now as far as speeds and latency timings do you use your PC for benching of any tyoe if you do everything counts so go for faster with tight timings or buy some stuff with IC'S that are known to clock well. If you are not a bancher then the less expensive option is fine.
