Does anyone have a manual for an Asus P5B-TMX/S motherboard?

Hi,

I wondered if anyone can help, please? I've 'inherited' an Asus P5B-TMX/S motherboard and have looked everywhere to try and obtain a copy of the manual for this, without success. I wish to install the motherboard in a new PC and need to know what the jumpers, headers etc, are.

All that I've been able to find out is that Asus supplied this as an OEM part to Mesh Computers. I have contacted Mesh by phone and was unable, unfortunately, to talk to anyone with any sense and my phone call ended up being cut off with my query unanswered. NOT a good recommendation for mesh.

My question is, has anyone out there got a copy of the manual, please, or, alternatively, know where I can obtain one? Any help appreciated.

Hi Nike

I know exactly what you mean. Since the board is OEM, ASUS won’t help and the details are not anywhere on their site.

Presently the manual is not in PDF format, but if you can be more specific on what you need I will happily PDF those sections for you. The previous post provides details for a motherboard that are not even close to the TMX.

The book contains lots of hardware details and will not be easy to scan so more information on what you need will be helpful. I found the manual useful when I was upgrading memory as no memory configuration tool will recognise the board. As usual with most manuals the bios section is really useless and doesn’t tell you any more information then you get in the bios screen itself.

CPU TYPE DUAL AND OR QUAD CORE AND SIZE MHZ?
MEMORY TYPE AND VOLTAGE AND ALSO MAXIMUM AMOUNT
LINIK SETTINGS FOR THE FRONT PANAL
INTERNAL USB CONNECTIONS
BIOS IF ANY GOOD TIPS AVAILABLE
ANY OTHER USEFULL INFO YOU CAN PROVIDE

I have more or less copied the whole book for you including the bios section. The details about the type of memory this board takes is a bit out of date now. You can very easily use the following memory:

Then just select from the list. DDR2, 667mhz, 240pin, x2 kits, 2GB.

I hope this helps but, let me know if I have missed anything.

I need your help again, need to know the USB connections on the motherboard and also the fropnt panal connections. Any chance of a full copy of the manual please??
