    thanks for all of the suggestions i think going £40 over budget isn't too bad so ill go with the i5 3470 and the Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H

    I would go with the GA-Z77P-D3 as you can't overlock a Core i5 3470 any useful amount anyway.
