What one or two aspects that appear in quite a few films annoy you? Things like turning on the TV and it just happens to be on the right channel to fit in with the current situation, etc. It's hard to explain, it just came to me yesterday as a thread idea.
For me it'll have to be the 5 minutes of credits you get at the BEGINNING of some films. Annoys the hell out of me. I wanna watch the film darnit! Leave the credits till the end!

The fact that 90% of films always have some sort of love interest thing where it isn't required. Always always always.

The high-pitched screech, often a scream, that accompanies a "scare" in numerous movies. It's incredibly annoying. That's one of the things I loved about The Forgotten; you don't so much hear the sudden bass noise as much as you feel it. Much more effective, in my opinion.
The fact that the worlds greatest secret agent/cia sharpshooter can never shoot the terrorist as he runs away at the start of the movie, he has to kill him in some elaborate punch-up/witty way at the end of the movie after 2 hours of yet more missing the target as he runs away well within range.....
In a fight the clearly superior baddie resorts to throwing the good guy around, giving him time to recover.
Where as anyone with any sense would just keep tw@tting him until he stopped moving.
When someone says "never go anywhere alone" and next scene guess what's happening....someone's gone somewhere alone and gets killed/attacked etc.
1 Hero - 6 Assassins... but the "Bad Guys" ALWAYS attack one at a time
car chases where they manage to keep changing gear when they're already going flat out - or other times when two totally mismatched vehicles manage to be neck an neck in a chase.
The bulletproof nature of an upturned table or a car door, the amazing ammunition capacity of a six shot revolver, the toughness of the good guy who can run around cracking one liners with a .45 round in his shoulder. The amazing ability for a car driven by the hero to not take major damage in a car chase shoot out with automatic weapons at a range of 12 feet or less.
