Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?
Last movie I saw was probably Dunkirk in the cinemas :D Was a very good film and seeing it on the big screen made it even better (Thank you Wuntu for the free tickets). Next movie I plan on watching will be the Godfather remastered as its on Amazon prime.

We watched the Greatest Showman at the weekend (wife's choice) and it was OK. Totally nowhere near factual (you know he boffed that singer before he left...) but a feel-good popcorn movie, with Hugh Jackman for the ladies. <21st century caveat>And anyone else who likes him.</21st century caveat> 7.5/10. Looked glorious in 4k, especially the fire scenes.

I finally got round to finishing this short series by Mark Gatiss, 'The History of Horror'. Although the first two are the best, horror in Europe and then Hammer, the third makes the point that Hitchcock changed horror with 'Psycho'. No longer was the fear induced by a fantastical or unnatural being, but from within humans themselves.

Watched the Rezort recently.
Reasonably enjoyable, pretty much Jurassic park with zombies.
Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?
Just got back from the cinema, saw Deadpool 2, it's good :)
Not quite as good as the first but still very good, I'd put the first as a 9/10 and the 2nd as an 8.5/10
Some great dark comedic moments, 4th wall breaks and general super hero convention subversion.
Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?
Just watched Anon. It has all the right ingredients; dystopian near future, Amanda Seyfried. It's a world of total surveillance, even your experiences and memories. To be anonymous is a crime. Hackers can hack the human mind. The anonymous ones have a code DFE(delete everything). But the film doesn't really convince. But interesting concept.
Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?
With the news of the Fourth "Friday" film. I've started rewatching all of them :clapping:. I don't know tend to like other films but It could just be because of Ice cube and Chris Tucker
Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?
I've been watching a lot of low budget films lately, they're still entertaining in a different way, one was like a cross between Terminator and Robot Wars. This one Beta Test is about the crossover between the gaming and real world. It was supposed to be another 'let's create a super soldier' film, but what is interesting is when it switches between a gaming world and the real world during the action. GTA V in reality.

Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?
I have watched Blade of the Immortal this evening, one of my favourite movies alongside Battle Royale, instantly gripped me from the moment I put it on. Well worth watching if you like Samurai stuff or movies by the legendary Takeshi Miike (this being his 100th movie)

The Good The Bad The Ugly..... Super fav. movie of mine.
Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?
Liking Mr Nice and The Good The Bad The Ugly. I saw a film yesterday with Ben Affleck actually acting> I think the last time was Good Will Hunting, but watched The Town yesterday. Good heist film with a relationship sub plot. Affleck directed it as well.
