    Watched 'Space force'

You really shouldn't. I've suffered so you don't have to.

Carnival Row was pretty good, actually. Had a definite ambiance of a classical literature sort of tale, but through a recognisibly modern perspective without having to pepper it with modernisms. Very nicely done, in fact.

Just burned through The Mandalorian (98% good, with barely anything in terms of blatant fan service) and followed swiftly by Star Trek: Picard... which wasn't quite as well done and kinda spoiled by the glee with which the show makers clearly exercise their new-found persmission to drop the F-bomb all over the place. Watch this one first, and then the Mandalorian!

Watched all of White Lines recently, there's lots of holes, mainly with the Mancunian accents, but it's a fun romp, taking you back to the days of dance music, hedonism and fun that was (most of) the 90s...

Re: What TV show are you watching right now?

Currently on Money Heist with the missus (Netflix), getting a bit implausible to say the least, but a story that keeps you engaged. Spanish with english subs, but that never bothered me.

It's similar in theme to Oceans Eleven, but grittier. Very well shot, likeable characters, and good production values.

    Solid 8/10 and recommended.

Eagerly awating Series 3 of Dark, which starts in around 2 weeks. If you've never watched it, do yourself a favour and watch it, it's brilliant. Starts out like a crime drama, and goes full sci-fi after a few episodes.

Re: What TV show are you watching right now?

Watched the following TV recently - all good IMHO:

For all mankind - what if the Russians won the space race
The Imagineering Story - uplifting story about creativity at Disney from the early days (prior to money making machine)
Star Trek: Picard - must watch for trekkies
Locke & Key - good fun when you get over the bizarre premise
Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist - good fun when you get over the bizarre premise!
Devs - excellent but with a disappointing ending in my humble opinion
Upload - comedy in the matrix world
The Great - period drama comedy - good fun
What we do in the Shadows - great movie, good TV series that is improving all the time.

Re: What TV show are you watching right now?

At the minute most of my viewing is Justin's House, The Baby Club, TwirlyWoos and all manner of things with inane, annoying theme songs.

To counter this, I've embrace my Sun Readership heritage and started watching Ross Kemp in Ultimate Force!
