    Ah...Batman begins,

Yup, it comes out this Wednesday the 15th. Looking forward to it. Especially since I'll be seeing it tongiht.

I'm hearing great things about it - it's about time such a cool comic got a chance at redemption on the silver screen.

    Batman Forever, Batman and Robin...groan.

Even 'Batman' and 'Returns', though distinctive, still lacked something from the comics.

    definately worth a look.

The original batman was cool - the others kinda sucked.

Im hoping this one will be dark and dirty and not hollywoodified (its a real word honest)

Not trying to be picky but shouldn't this thread technically belong in audio and visual when there's already a batman begins thread. Anyway I just wanted to say the film comes out nationwide on the 16th not the 15th just incase anyone decides to go to the cinema on the wrong day hehe .

i hear that there's no cgi in this batman film, and that the lead (bale), car, batman's mentor (neeson) and his bulter (caine) are british (there may be more in the film)...

Right! Here's the deal. Saw the movie last night and I have to say that Batman Begins is....

the BEST comic book adaptation to date. The film is amazing. I don't know when it's released in the UK but get your rear ends into that seat. Super-enjoyable in every way, from gadgets, to humour, to quality acting and good writing. The plot twists work well, so don't go and let yor curiosity ruin it by looking for spoilers.

I'll be seeing it again soon, and I rarely see a movie twice at the movies.

This movie is great. Bale is great. Freeman is great. Neeson is great. Even Katie Holmes has a good part and does a good job. What's more it even has a grest ending. This is everything Batman should have been the first time around. So scrap the rest (yes it even beats the first movie), that was all practise, the real saga starts now.
