Just seen this on the Apple UK site, and was wondering whether with all the supported standards, whether it can operate a 802.11a and an 802.11g wireless network at the same time?

I don't think you can, due to how the two technologies work, with a being on the 5ghz specturm and b/g/n on the 2.4ghz spectrum..I don't think they would be compatable unless the airport has an internal bridge to bridge the two networks together.
I know that some Cisco products can do it, but they have an internal bridge that you can configure and use instead, and they cost a heck of a lot more than an airport extreme
Best thing to do is just call Apple up and ask them
