    azureus drops my wireless connection

im running x2 sp2 on a shuttle with a pn18 updated with the latest drivers.

my wireless connection is fine however when i start up azureus it runs for a couple of hours and then drops the wireless connection. it forces all other pcs on the network to drop also.

i have tested this with 2 different wireless routers, drivers for the pn18 but nothing helps, the only common issue is azureus running on my pc. i have limited global connections to 100 but still the problem persists.

    any ideas?

Try limiting the global connections down further. My guess is that your router is struggling and dropping the wireless as a result.

i agree with burble. You router can only open and sustain a limtied number of connections and going above it normally causes router to crash. Lower your max simultaneous connections in azureus

Too many concurrent TCP-IP on your XP box, theres a "patch" out somewhere that allows you to increase the number..

i used to have a belkin 125mbps turbo router (or what ever the logo was).

I found by turning off the turbo setting, the wireless network became a lot more stable. and better for programs similar to azureus.

Using the patch while you have a router in between i think will make things worse as more and more connection, when the pc is used normally, will be open thus increasing the frequency of crashes.
