If it was paid by credit card and is more than £100, go after the credit card company.

If it wasn't paid by credit card, or is less than £100, about your only option is to go after the individual but, as has been pointed out, the practical implications of that mean it may well not be worth the hassle, and may not be successful even if it is worth the hassle. If not credit card, it's probably a case of gritting your teeth, and chalking it up to experience.

Yes because technically you can't just 'stop' you are liable personally as a non LTD company - so thus assets of his can be ceased, however if we are talking hardly anything - it's not worth it

Is it £100 legally? If so, I know Mastercard have been very good in my experience. They happily refunded me £65 for a motherboard issue a few years back. They were very friendly, only one form (rest done on the phone), its always worth asking

IIRC, its the credit card companies policy that puts the lower limit at £100. The law puts it at any value. Check with Citizens advice bureaux if unsure.

Under the consumer credit act their liable between £100 and £30k but my card companies have always dealt with things for less than that as well.

Do you have a source for that?
