Internet access through wireless, file access through LAN

Hello,

After some advice please. My Windows XP PC accesses the internet through a wireless card and router/range extender, which works okay. Okay, that is, until I enable my separate LAN connection which I use to access other PCs in my room through my own router - then it seems as if Windows looks to the LAN connection for internet access, which it doesn't have.

How can I stop this happening, and force Windows to use the wireless card for internet access? Thanks.

dont give the LAN a default gateway.
