smoothie help! routing users via firewall

This is how I want my network to function; I’ve got it set up like this but I’m having issues.

The idea is the hosts get the dhcp info from the smoothwall, which gives them the gateway address of the smoothwall green interface (192.168.0.50) this then forwards out the internet requests out the red interface 192.168.0.60, to the router 192.168.0.1

The hosts get the DHCP information fine, and attempt to route there internet requests to the .50 IP but the internet requests fail.

I’m not sure why. Can you see any glaring issues with how my network is set up?

Things I think might be messing it up
-the green interface not being on different subnet to the red interface and the router.

I know the best way to set it up is Modem/Router ----> smoothwall --> switch/ap --> clients, but id much prefer to have it setup as it is in the drawing.

    EDIT:@ Resloved The Issue!
