Just a heads up if anyone wants to use the Netgear firmware recovery utility to flash/reflash their Netgear router firmware: it does not work with Vista (specifically Vista 64). I'm talking about the executable UpgradeWizard.exe that is used to recover corrupted firmware on Netgear routers or reflash Netgear routers with alternative firmware (eg. Sky OEM versions of the Netgear DG834GT).

You have to use a Windows XP machine to run this utility.

I hope that saves someone an afternoon of frustration!
