Broadband in the Fens...How hard can it be?

Ooo got a nice (personalised) email back from ADSL24.

From the email:

"The best way to confirm what your line is capable of is to let me know your modem/router line stats so we can see exactly what the state of the line is."

Rather than look like the numpty that I am, what does the emailer mean? What stats is he after? I could just take a screenshot of the router/gateway settings page and send it through?

Friendly AND technical

He (James) looked at my router stats and basically said my current ISP must have not checked my line properly as my line stats show that it is capable of 2Mb+ on ADSL Max.
