    Problems downloading

Ive finaly got ADSL but it seems im having problems downloading large files, so far ive tryed the 1.6 patch for BF1942 and the latest version of Desert combat and the Painkiller Demo, all give CRC errors or are just plain corrupted, after a few attempts I have managed to get the BF patch to download and work by trying different servers.
I cant imagine that all the servers and files that I have tryed are all corrupt so this leads me to belive that something is up at my end.
Im running the Thompson Speedtouch 330 ADSL modem and I have a 1mbit line from Zen.
Any advice would be appreciated guys as this is really annoying me, I must have wasted 2gb of bandwith so far

Perhaps get your ISP or BT to check the line for noise, also i know it's a silly question but do you have a microfilter to separate the phone and ADSL? as that would cause noise on the line (Interference from phone) also i read somewhere if you have more than one phone socket in the house to have a microfilter in each or you will get noise on the line.

If all else fails try a download manager like getright or gozilla
