So, the credit crunch has really taken hold and I am forced to not run my main PC 24/7 *cry*

I have a habit of needing access to my PC while at work, which I do with logmein.com - works great.

But now I need to turn the PC on remotely..........I enabled the necessary options last night and performed a local test with "WOL Packet Sender", it worked as long as I used the broadcast option (subnet mask 0.0.0.0).....PC would turn on - jubly

So, I forward port 9999 TCP and UDP from my router to my main PC and try using numerous websites that will send a magic packet (has to be a website as only port 80 is open here at work).....absolutely nada

I found an extra bit of info for setting up a static ARP entry for BeBoxes but that still doesn't help at all.

I also tried doing some sniffing with WireShark......while I cannot see the destination of the packets using this, I can see there are WOL packets making it into my internal network but they are not waking my PC.

Anyone have any ideas please?
