6 month old hd w/ bad sectors

so i have this 750gb samsung drive with bad sectors.. i just tried fixing it with diskpatch and it's ended up hosing the mbr and partition table for my windows install -.-
after a lengthy session of trying to boot the acronis rescue cd with no success (can't load ramdisk?)
i've just did a network install of xp to another drive... i don't think the install is even completed but on the first reboot after copying files it is now doing a chkdsk and "fixing" all sorts of errors..

this being a 6 month old drive, the bad sectors appeared 2 months ago according to event viewer.

i'm very unhappy about this, is there anything i can do?

there fast at turning round bad drives, start the rma and you will be posting it the next day, 2-3 working day turn around

slight problem with, it's an oem drive from ebuyer

should not be an issue at all, put the serial number in the validity box to check !
the good thing with samsungs is there all under warranty oem or not.

right, i'll just finish up installing windows so i can restore my acronis image then i'll pull the drive out and check the serial

DOH, then again i had an OEM and it passed there check, cant remember the serial number though.

mine's OEM from eBuyer too, and it works



works for all 3 and they're all OEM HDs
