    Vista causes network disconnects

Hey people, this is a strange one. It seems that my vista PC is causing the entire network to disconnect, but I still stay connected. On our network we have my vista pc, a xp home laptop and a macbook. Periodically they get disconnected but I'm fine. Can anybody shed any light into what's causing this and how to fix it? It happens to a Belkin 54g router and also a router that was sent from Sky. Cheers.

it could be the IP6 issue, it can do some very strange thiongs to networks. Turn off IP6 support.

IPv6 is disabled and it still happens... Could it be something to do with Sky? Just seems odd that my PC stays fine.

running media (songs for example) is known to slow or disconnect a network when using vista, i read somewhere.

    Re: Vista causes network disconnects

Those issues were fixed probably around 6 months ago re media playing and network performance. Don't suppose you have access to another router - preferably not a Belkin one? (i.e. even give the ISP supplied jobby a go) and see if that improves things.
    Moo.
