    wireless networking

i have a wireless network with a router for an internet connection, and 4 computers. I would like to be able to use the printer, and transfer files between all of the computers. Is there a way of doing this over the wireless network?

    Yes,

connect all computers wirelessly/wired to the network. Enable file sharing/printer sharing on each computer. make sure they're all in the same workgroup. It should do the rest it's self.

    Re: wireless networking

wow i didnt think it would be that simple. I had assumed that my family would have left the default "WORKGROUP" workgroup, but it turned out they had all changed it. I have spent the last year thinking that wireless networks must be set up differently that standard wired networks.

Now i have a problem, i (vista) can access files from the pc downstairs (xp), but i cant connect to the printer attached to it. I cna browse to it in the network menu, but when i click connect, it used to say, driver required, and then i would click install driver and it would freeze. Then i installed the driver manually, and now when i connect it says "windows cannot connect to the printer" or something like that.
I have tried disabling firewalls of both PCs to make sure they arent interfering, but they arent. Now im out of ideas...
