    Which ISP

OK, I know that there have probably been 100s of threads like this b4, but after my thread *convienantly* named 1, and looking into how much we are paying for our broadband, I think that it is time to switch.

At the moment we are paying arround £50 for this:

I have thought its time to change.

So I was wondering what is the best package, including line rental, and phone calls (possibly mobile contract instead of landline), for a family of five, heavy internet users.

    Thanks

    Re: Which ISP

honestly I would keep your line rental seperate & still with BT - you'll only save about 50p by moving it & potentially more hassle if you ever want to change suppliers again.

as far as ADSL Be/O2 are highly recommended - same infrastructure but slightly different packages & if you have an O2 mobile (even PAYG) you'll get a £5pm discount.

I know that deals with people like Tiscali probably look cheaper but they are crap.

    Re: Which ISP

If you want a package i would also probably go with O2, if not i would consider seperate BB from ADSL24, and then a cheap tesco or asda mobile. Could work out cheaper.

    Re: Which ISP

If you look at O2, and limited to their Access package because you exchange isn't unbundled, then I'd avoid them. The Access package is very poor during peak times.

    Re: Which ISP

OK, the problem is that Tiscali convinced my partents to change our line to theirs. How hard is it to change back (and do O2 do anything like a mobile/home phone/broadband package)
