dlink router help

i have a dlink dir-655 router and i want to port foward the same ports to two diffent computers, when i do this the router says it can;t do this becaues there is a conflict on the ports, any idears ?

The router is telling the truth. How would it know which computer to send a packet to that came in on a given port? It wouldn't

What ports are you trying to forward and for what purpose, may be able to setup different ports for the 2 PCs to use.

You shouldn't normally have to forward ports on a router just to play a game. You should find that the games just work (unless you are trying to run servers of course).

you can't send them to both computers at the same time, you'd need to decide which computer you wanna host from and set it up accordingly.
