Office Networking Cable Query

Hi Guys,

I've been asked to setup a new office for the company I work for. In the past, there has usually either been structured cabling (fortunately), or we've been quite content just routing ethernet cables around the walls.

In this new office, which is quite significantly larger, I'll be having to run Cat6 along the ceiling tiles. Now am I correct in thinking that this is the Plenum space? Which leads to my next question...do we have to buy Plenum cable? What are the UK Fire Regulations on this (if any!)?

In the past, I've generally used Belkin Cat6 STP - I'm not sure whether this would be suitable though.
Cost really isn't an issue, so if the cables are expensive - it's not really a problem - we would prefer that this is done correctly.

I'm also fairly happy to terminate my own cables (although after 60 cuts and crimps, I may feel differently ) . However, fixed length cables of approx 30m would probably make my life easier!

Naw, those are just fake roofs. Standard solid-core UTP will be fine as long as there isn't a load of power cables running around up there, STP otherwise.
