    VPN access questions

Is there any easy way to cut down access to the network that VPN users have?

    eg

I have 42 sites all connected via LES, there is one VPN server in the datacenter. I want to be able to allow the user access to their own site but no other sites in the company.

Is there any way to restrict access down to a range of IP addresses?

What VPN system are you using? I know with the Cisco kit it's an absolute doddle, you just edit the VPN policy. The awkwardness is that if you would need to setup and maintain a lot of VPN policies and make sure that people have the right policy.

Cisco VPN it is, i'll give it a go with our 2 liceses on our current firewall at the datacenter then pay them the arm and leg they want for the rest of the licenses. Worth it though, you can't go wrong with Cisco really.

Stick a Linux box in running OpenVPN, it's about as configurable as you can get and you can avoid Cisco's obscene prices.........
