    Internet problems, help please :)

So, I have a problem of some sort with my internet connectivity.

I'm pretty sure it's not the router or my ethernet cable as the wireless is working fine on my laptop, and it works just as well with the same ethernet cable plugged in to the laptop.

Basically the problem is that after a few webpages load, the connections dies and nothing will load. If I leave it for 15 mins it will work but generally nothing works at all unless I restart the router.

Wierdly enough, this only started the other day, and I've changed nothing that I can think of that would have caused it. No driver updates or anything
    Any suggestions?

    Running the Win 7 RC.

Exactly the same problem has just started for me, fancy that!

It is hugely irritating and I've spent quite a while fiddling with settings trying to fix the problem but nothing is working. I'm using wireless on Win7 RC, with a Belkin F5D8633 router and the bundled USB adapter.

Interestingly, the problem doesn't exist on my sister's laptop which has been tested both wired and with the internal wireless card. She's running XP.

The problem has been around for a fair while but the connection would only drop out occasionally, nothing compared to what it's started doing this morning which is dropping out literally every 30 seconds (tops) and requiring me to unplug and plug back in the USB adapter.

Format, did you have any joy with the problem or can anyone else suggest a course of action?

Nothing has changed in terms of hardware recently.

This is the 4th account I've read about someones wireless dying on Windows 7...

Make sure it isn't a power save feature, check in Device Manager.

Sorry - I am running ethernet cable - at the time of that problem my wireless was working perfectly on my laptop.

    Good luck with your problem.
