hi i need some advice fast i wanted to know which cisco router is better?
2620 or 3620
im gwessing that the 3620 just because i would think its a newer model but can someone advise please?

also are netgear FSM726S any good?

but if you have a managed 48port switch is it possible to separate it into 4 12 ports? or will all 48 ports always be connected

Yes it is possible. The process is called VLAN's and you can break it into as many vlans as you want (the your case you could have 48 different vlans (not much point on a single switch but you get my point). Unfortunately work has blocked youtube so I can't show you a video guide but do a search and I'm sure you'll find something.
