Trouble with O2 Router - Help!

    Hi,

I'm using an O2 Wireless Box III - in other words, a Thomson TG585n.

It has an issue whereby it seems to 'lose' all the devices attached to the network. Everything can still connect to the internet through it, but - for example - I can't see my NAS from my desktop computer, my desktop from my laptop etc. They just won't appear in the network folder.

If I reset it, everything reappears and I can access it all fine again.

Any ideas as to what's going on?

I would buy another (decent) router, but I'm moving house in a few months to somewhere that's going to have Virgin cable and I'll need a cable router then, not an ADSL one.

    Thanks!

The only thing I can suggest is to ring o2 up and see if you can get a replacement router. Mine stopped working correctly recently and I rang them up a couple of times and when they realised they couldn't fix it remotely they sent me out a new router. I had the o2wireless box 3 previously.
