I am going to plump for the new US Robotics 100-mbit 54b/g ones as they got really good reviews and they are well featured and pretty cheap. I have a netgear ADSL router and its had nasty firmware issues and netgear are slow to fix problems - i wouldnt buy anything else netgear now.

Had reliability problems with 3com rack mount hubs and switches too, so i never buy anything 3com either.

Ill let you know what this usr stuff is like - it looks really good.

I'd look for one that does 108Mbps - uses two connections and bridges them but you get speeds (in theory) faster than cat5, so I wouldn't complain

As long as the rest of your wireless kit is 108Mbps, or you use the switch in the back of your router then no, not really.

Although the router may be 54Mbps, if you use two connections on it you get double hence 108Mbps.

ok, i think i get ya!

    im gonna have:

    ADSL > 54g Modem/Router/Firewall Combo > 5/6 PC's (All Wireless)

So 108Mbps PCI Cards is best.

    Sorry im a bit

    Yeah, that's right.

six pcs and the router thinks that there's actually twelve.

But it's all cleverly done so it works, I don't understand it fully

o0o0o dem lil 108mbps cards are clever little beggers aint they. cheers for the help angus.

which do you use? i need one to be compatable with the 3com officeconnect 54g router.

also another question im getting the ADSL from Central Point Broadband (www.cpbb.co.uk), now is that Annex A or Annex B as their are two diff types of the OfficeConnect router.
