    Can happily recommend the TP-LINK 1043WND as well, and I haven't yet got round to installing DD-WRT. The standard firmware is perfectly serviceable if you don't want to do anything special.

    Remember you can always get an external ADSL modem, so long as it has bridging functionality. You may even be able to use an old router as one.
