    Port Forwarding Error

    Hi All,

trying to forward some ports on my router, with the settings below (certain details may have been changed to protect the innocent )....

    Rule Name: My Ports
    Protocol: TCP
    Port Start: xxx1
    Port End: xxx9
Port Map: 192.168.1.2 (Static IP of my machine - should this go here?)

    2 questions -
    1. WTF is a Port Map??
    2. Why TF is it saying to me 'Name can not start with a number'?? name doesnt start with an effing number!?!

I've read the manual but thats useless as it says nothing about the port map grrrrrrr

    TIA

    sorry its a DLink g604T

I've fixed it now - typical isnt it. search for 30 minutes. find nothing. post on here, find it within 10 minutes

Its a screw up in the firmware apparently - although it says 'Name cannot start with a number' name can ONLY start with a number

I'll give it a beating with its new firmware in the morning.

    Cheers Moby!
