    sharing folders on wireless network

I have a wireless network set up on my lappy(desktop is cabled to router). My lappy can share the broadband connection and I have set my music folder on desktop PC to be shared but cannot see it on my laptop. Where would it normally appear/how do I get it to appear. I am using a linksys 54g router.

Forgive the question as I am a networking newbie(i couldn't even get my laptop to connect properly until using the wireless connection wizard on SP2).
I do know everything, just not all at once. It's a virtual memory problem.

Make sure the Windows built-in firewall is disabled or set up appropriately.
