NETGEAR Internet Access Problem

Hope you can help me with this problem...?

I've just set up a wireless home network with a NETGEAR WGT634U router attached to my main PC, and a WG311T PCI adapter installed in the secondary PC.

The secondary PC can see the wireless network and confirms that signal strengh is very good etc., but I still cannot access the internet from this machine...

Does this PC works fine with a direct USB connection to the cable modem, so I wondered if I need to be configure internet access to look at the WG311T card rather than USB...?

Any help you guys can give would be much appreciated!

I've just seen that the secondary PC has an IP address of 169.x.x.x - according to ntl (at http://www.ntlworld.com/help/support/solution.php step 6), such an IP address means that this computer had failed to contact ntl's DHCP server...

Does anyone have any advice on what I must do to get these two machines talking...?

Well with a little bit of perseverance I managed to get it working...

It seemed that the secondary PC had not been able to pick up the DHCP settings from the router, and all that was needed was to unset / set the Use Router as DCHP Server, then get the secondary PC to re-read the setting from the router by doing a refresh...

Cool...
